£25,000 for step ladder fall

A plumber has been awarded £25,000 after he sustained serious injuries to his shoulder and arm in a fall from step ladders. He was carrying out a repair using a set of light weight aluminium step ladders to access the area requiring attention which was at a height of 10 foot. He had not been supplied with three point contact ladders which were necessary to carry out the task safely.
