Shopping centre slip and trip

A woman has received £1,900 compensation after she was injured in a fall at a shopping centre. She slipped and fell as a result of some chocolate ice cream which had been spilt on the floor. She had tried to stop herself from falling but landed on the floor with her knees and back, taking the full impact of the fall causing minor bruising to her knees which settled after a two week period but also exacerbated a pre-existing back problem for a period of six months.
