Marsh creates binding authority division

Broker Marsh has established a new business division to house a dedicated binding authority and consumer placement service, bringing together expertise and administrative functions from across its various product lines. The new facility, based in London, will be the access point to the London and European insurance markets for Marsh’s small and medium enterprise (SME) and consumer business segments in the North American, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia and Pacific regions and will have responsibilities for binding authorities in Marsh UK. The team will be led by Toby Pollard, a managing director at Marsh, who will report to Mike Melling, chief executive of Marsh ConsumerConnexions EMEA.
