Philippines: the retrieval of bodies inside the sunken passenger ro/ro Princess of the Stars, which was scheduled to resume, did not take place because the salvor failed to apply for a salvage permit with the Philippine Coast Guard. The Coast Guard said that they could not allow the salvor, Harbor Star Shipping Services, to begin recovery of the remains until a proper salvage plan was submitted.
