MAPFRE reins in regional expansion plans
International insurance groups are concerned about the devaluation of regional currencies on their bottom lines
Spain’s MAPFRE has said that it will put on hold acquisition plans in Latin America in light of the recent global market turbulence.
MAPFRE said it will instead focus on growth from its existing businesses in the region.
