Insurers granted limited access to state health statistics

The government will make available medical data to insurance associations, but not to individual firms

The French authorities have allowed providers of complementary health insurance – such as mutuals, insurers, and provident funds – to have access to certain health service statistics concerning medicine use so that they can estimate their future claims more accurately.
