21.9, air crash, fatalities

Mozambique: a private South African registered Piper Seneca PA 34 aircraft, which ran out of fuel, crash-landed in a Mozambizan suburb, killing seven South Africans on board. A Mozambique state television report said the seven bodies were burnt beyond recognition. The aircraft was coming from the central province of Zambezi when it hit the ground in the densely-populated suburb of Palmeiras, 30 metres from Palmeiras beach in Beira province .No one was injured on the ground. The aircraft was chartered by Majestic Air, coming from Durban. The cause of incident was unknown.
