Arthur Rogers (1943-2008)

It is with great sadness that we note the passing away of Arthur Rogers on October 5th. He reported on financial services issues at the European parliament for World Insurance Report for much of the last two decades. He will be greatly missed

It is particularly fitting that the last article Arthur Rogers produced before his untimely death at the age of 65 (‘EU Financial Services Regulations: VAT reform gets go-ahead”) made the front page of World Insurance Report (6 October, issue 847), merely a day after his passing away.
