Thompsons’ response to pleural plaques consultation

In its response to the Ministry of Justice consultation, Thompsons has set out key demands including legislation to overturn the House of Lords decision. If the judgment is not be overturned then Thompsons is calling for a no fault scheme paid for by insurers. The law firm also called for an insurance fund of last resort for workers’ compensation, and outlawing the use of ‘CT scan vans’ by claims farmers.
