Supermarket employee wins compensation
A woman has been awarded £45,000 for the injuries she sustained when a cage full of bread fell on top of her at a supermarket.
The woman, who worked as a general assistant at the supermarket, was moving a cage of bread, 10 trays high measuring just
over six feet in height. The cage had four wheels, one of which had become defective which resulted in the cage falling over
and the stack of bread falling upon the woman hitting her on the back of the head, neck and shoulders.
