World Insurance Report

David Gasson, Secretary General, International Union of Aerospace Insurers (IUAI)

IUAI members account for around 90% of global aerospace insurance premium income and provide insurance cover to airlines, aircraft manufacturers, airports and service providers such as refuellers, caterers and security screeners. Here, David Gasson, the Union’s Secretary General, talks to WIR about the IUAI’s lobbying of governments, the modernising of the Rome Convention and the IUAI’s drive to increase its membership in countries where the aerospace market is currently experiencing rapid growth
