US firms don’t buy separate foreign D&O policies

Only 3% of US survey participants with international operations have purchased separate Directors and Officers (D&O) liability insurance policies for other individual countries, according to the 2007 US Survey on Insurance Purchasing and Claims Trends conducted by Towers Perrin. Forty-three per cent of all survey participants indicated that their firms are global.
