Fractured skull compensation

A man has received £20,000 compensation after suffering a fractured skull at work. He was working on a mobile crusher and had to remove any objects that would not go through the jaws of the machine. He saw a large piece of metal and went to stop the machine but a piece of metal flew out of the machine and struck him on the side of his head. He suffered a fractured skull and contusion to the brain and required surgery to elevate the fracture and tidy the wound.
