BUPA wins legal appeal

The Supreme Court ruling states there is no legal basis for the risk equalisation payments by market players to VHI, which have now been suspended

Regulation of the Irish health insurance market has been thrown into disarray by Ireland’s Supreme Court which has ruled that there is no legal basis for market participants being required to make risk equalisation payments.
