Florida and Gulf Coast join IFEX range

The Insurance Futures Exchange Services (IFEX) has extended its suite of products to include wind event linked futures for Florida and states on the Gulf Coast of the US. The new contracts are now traded on the Chicago Climate Futures Exchange, allowing buyers to address exposures or trading opportunities in these specific regions. Each contract responds to insured losses as calculated by the Property Claims Services division of the Insurance Services Office.
