Vibration white finger damages
A man has received £12,478 for vibration white finger. He was employed as a ground worker for a council, a civil engineering
firm and a Tarmacadam contractor. His vibration white finger was caused by excessive levels of vibration from different machinery
which left him with symptoms of whiteness brought on by cold weather, as well as tingling, numbness and a lack of dexterity
and grip strength. The claim settled out of court. The council paid £7,450, with the other defendants making a combined offer
of £5,028.
