The Law Commissions’ issues paper

The reform process of English and Scottish insurance law continues apace. Having produced three issues papers and a consultation document on utmost good faith, warranties and intermediaries, the English and Scottish Law Commissions have now moved to the second phase of their work by issuing the first of a further three issues papers. This paper is on insurable interest, published in January 2008 with responses requested by 11 April 2008. The most important features of the issues paper are discussed in the following paragraphs.
