Time charter - Whether last voyage legitimate

The vessel was time chartered under the NYPE form for a period ending on 12 January 1982. On 17 September 1981 the charterers entered into a sub-charter for a “transatlantic round voyage via safe port(s) via U.S. Gulf, USNH or Great Lakes and Soviet Black Sea or Soviet Baltic or Continent”. Delivery was to take place at any time, day or night on passing Cape Passero, and re-delivery was to be on passing Cape Passero westbound or passing Skaw outbound or on dropping outward pilot at safe port in the Cape Passero/Skaw range in the sub-charterers’ option. Laydays/cancelling were 1/15 October 1981.
