Mareva injunction on vessel lifted

The plaintiffs brought a claim against the defendant shipowners for substantial sums allegedly owing in respect of the use of the plaintiffs’ terminal facilities at Sydney by the defendants’ vessel Bunga Taratai and Bunga Ansana . A Mareva injunction had been granted ex parte in respect of the vessel Bunga Taratai . The defendants now applied to set the injunction aside in order that the vessel might be allowed to sail that evening.
