Petavius Shipping v. Owners of The Kum Susan Ho - High Court (Mayo J.) - 5 June 1982

Vessel arrested under section 3(4) - Administration of Justice Act 1956 - Entry in Lloyd’s Confidential Index insufficient to prove beneficial ownership

The defendants had chartered the plaintiffs’ vessel Eurotransport . The plaintiffs claimed freight and demurrage under that charterparty and on 25 January 1982 issued a warrant of arrest against the Kum Susan Ho in Hong Kong under the provisions of section 3(4) of the Administration of Justice Act 1956.
