Oil pollution - Extent of costs recoverable by Maritime Board from offending vessels

The vessels World Encouragement and Stolt Sheaf had, in separate incidents, discharged oil in waters within the jurisdiction of the Prevention of Oil Pollution of Navigable Waters Act 1960 (the Act). World Encouragement , which was a tanker, came under section 7E of the Act. Stolt Sheaf , which was not a tanker, came under section 8 of the Act.
