Mareva injunction lifted where third party’s trading activities interfered with
The plaintiffs, a Swiss company, owned the vessel Grecian Legend which had been time-chartered by the defendants, a Panamanian
Corporation. The plaintiffs claimed some $400,000 for demurrage and had obtained a
Mareva
injunction from Neill J. The injunction restrained the defendants from dealing with their assets within the U.K. and in particular
a cargo of coal loaded on board the vessel
Eleftherios
which was at that time at the port of Barry in South Wales.
