KOTAK LIFE TO OPEN 100 BRANCHES

India-based Kotak Life is to open 100 more branches throughout India by March 2009, bringing the total number of branches to 210. Shekhar Bhandari, senior vice-president of sales, said that 40 branches would come up in the current financial year itself. He said that the states of Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana and Punjab would be given prime importance on the business development front. Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh would be added at stage II.
