LARSEN TO LINK WITH TRAVELERS FOR INDIAN NON-LIFE OPERATION

US insurer Travelers is to take the maximum permitted 26% stake in a non-life insurance joint venture with India-based engineering and construction company Larsen & Taubro, reports today’s Indian newspaper Business Standard . The report said that a memorandum of understanding was likely to be signed “soon”, and that the venture would focus primarily on areas such as project insurance.
