CPIC PROPERTY TO INSURE SHANGHAI RAIL LINES

The Shanghai branch of China Pacific Property Insurance is to ensure eight local railway lines. It has insured locally based rail company Shanghai Shentong Metro Co, offering underground vehicle cover, property cover and public liability cover. The rail operator is expected to expand to 11 rail lines, covering more than 400km of track, in time for the Shanghai Expo of 2010.
