THREE INDONESIAN INSURERS STILL MISS MINIMUM RBC

Three non-life insurers in Indonesia are still not at the 120% required risk-based capital (RBC) level, reported the country’s insurance company association AAUI. Asia Reliance General Insurance had an RBC of 61%, while Asuransi Puri Asih had an RBC of minus 68%. Asuransi Nina Griya Upakara had an RBC of minus 468%%, the AAUI said. Asuransi Berdikari, which in 2005 had an RBC of 815%, increased it to 177% in 2006.
