Twenty-one senior insurance managers in China... were removed from their posts in the first quarter of the year, up 61.5% on the figure for the same period last year, according to a report from the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC). The regulator said that 189 teams had been despatched throughout the country to examine 263 insurance institutions, including life, non-life and broking operations.
