ORIENTAL SIGNS COMMERCIAL MOTOR AGREEMENT

Indian state-owned Oriental Insurance Co yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding with the All India Transporters Welfare Association and Edelweiss Insurance Brokers to provide motor insurance for more than 350,000 commercial vehicles owned by association members. Oriental deputy general manager AK Roy said that “With this tie-up we will try to extend all possible help right from drawing a cover note to settlement of the final claim so that transporters can focus on their business”.
