FEWER THAN 5% OF MALAYSIA HOMES HAVE FULL COVER

Most house owners in Malaysia have basic fire cover or more comprehensive cover against floods, but do not have cover for their contents. Mitsui Sumitomo Malaysia said that “based on our own portfolio, less than 5% of homes have householder insurance for protection against the loss or damage of their household products and personal belongings”.
