PICC HOLDING AND CHINA RE SIGN CO-OPERATION AGREEMENT

China-based insurer PICC Holding has signed a strategic co-operation agreement with China Re, the companies said in a joint statement yesterday. PICC’s health insurance unit also signed a co-operation deal with China Life Re, a subsidiary of China Re Group. The joint statement said that areas of co-operation would include the insurance and reinsurance sectors, use of capital and insurance broking, but no details were supplied.
