Allianz China Life...
has been granted a preliminary licence by regulator CIRC to open a branch in Chengdu, in the western Sichuan Province.
Allianz first established representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in 1994. It is now present in 12 Chinese cities,
but the move into Chengdu is its first in the relatively underdeveloped western regions.
