Indonesian assurer Central Asia Raya (CAR)... has posted an unaudited 20bn rupiah in first half profit and company president Muljadi Kusuma said that the assurer is looking to post a full-year profit up 20% to 58.8bn rupiah. Mr Muljadi said CAR had been successful in expanding its market to nearly all parts of Indonesia, including the more remote frontier areas and islands. He said that the company had 850,000 individual policyholders as of the end of June.
