Dubai plans new centre

The Dubai International Financial Centre is expected to begin operating next year, providing reinsurance, asset management, Islamic finance and back office operations. The centre will comply with international regulations and will operate outside the influence of local courts. The new business centre is being marketed as an ideal regional base for international reinsurers.
