Corporate Manslaughter: A new risk to your business?

After almost a decade in the making, the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 (the Act) was passed in July this year. The Act makes several provisions, the most important being that under a specific set of circumstances an organisation as a whole can, for the first time, be held responsible for the death of an individual.
