Council employee wins payout
A former council employee has been awarded a payout after a fall at work left him unable to remain in his job. The council
paid £10,118 in injury compensation and £19,014 in costs and lost earnings. He had been helping council staff store boxes
in a town hall loft when his ladder slipped and he fell, according to local media reports.
