Fighter jet technician wins damages
An aircraft technician who was injured whilst working on a fighter jet has been awarded £6,000 in compensation. He was carrying
out maintenance work on the fuel tank of a Tornado ZA547 Aircraft. The task required him to enter the fuel tank head first
and then twist his body. As he did so, he suffered a severe and sharp pain in his abdomen and was subsequently diagnosed with
a hernia which required surgery.
