A baby who suffered brain damage at birth has been awarded £4.8mn. The mother had a high risk pregnancy due to a medical condition.
She went into labour and a midwife said she heard a normal fetal heart rate using a Sonicaid device, but just minutes later,
the baby was delivered stillborn.
