£2mn in compensation for bladder injury

A woman has won nearly £2mn in compensation after she sued an NHS Trust over an injury she suffered following the birth of her son. She suffered an injury to her bladder which she claimed left her traumatised and forced her to give up her career. The Trust claimed that she had exaggerated her psychiatric injuries. The judge reportedly said that some of her evidence was unreliable, but could not reject her evidence.
