Aon warning on aviation rates

Aon has warned that aviation insurance rates for both hull and liability business, which have softened considerably in the past year, could harden again towards the end of the year. Second-quarter renewals saw liability rates down 15% year-on-year. However, Aon noted that, with only 14 of the 38 renewals having the same liability basis, accurate comparisons were difficult.
