Postponing delivery may prevent brain damage
Research by Nottingham University has found that postponing delivery by a few days may prevent brain damage in premature babies.
The study, published in the Lancet and funded by the Medical Research Council, assessed the impact of different delivery times
for premature babies on survival and brain development.
