Builder gets £85,000 after fall
A South Yorkshire man has been paid £85,000 compensation by a construction company, after injuring his knee in an accident
at work in January 2000. The man was working as a ceilings and partition fixer, on a self-employed basis, contracted to a
ceilings company, but general site health and safety was the responsibility of the construction company which was the main
contractor.
