Slavery claim filed

An action seeking unspecified reparation from companies that profited from slave labour has been filed in US District Court, New York. Named defendants are Aetna, CSX and FleetBoston Financial with the right reserved to add up to 100 more names to the defendant list. One likely candidate is AIG through its recent acquisition of American General. Lloyd’s does not believe it will become involved.
