Nonexecutives misunderstand D&O
Hanson Green’s guide to boardroom insurance says there is widespread misunderstanding of directors’ and officers’ (D&O) insurance
among nonexecutive directors. For example, they do not realise many company policies do not cover nonexecutives. Hanson Green
estimates 5,000 or 6,000 have inadequate cover if sued by shareholders.
