Birth defects and lack of epilepsy drug advice

A survey by the British Epilepsy Association suggests more than 60% of women are taking older epilepsy drugs and that less than half of these recalled are warned of an increased risk of birth defects and of interaction with contraceptive pills with risk of unplanned pregnancy.
