Result This head of damages in personal injury cases is to be increased in order to produce fair, reasonable and just compensation. This is on a rising scale according to severity of injury. Awards below £10,000 are to remain unchanged, and those above are to be tapered upwards to a maximum of one-third upgrade at £150,000.
