Not an employee so no unfair dismissal
An employment tribunal has ruled that the former chief executive of Northampton Town Football Club is not entitled to claim unfair dismissal. The tribunal ruled he had not been an employee between February and October 2003, although he was commercial director, because he had been hired as a consultant. He could not, therefore, claim unfair dismissal because he had not been employed for 12 months.
