Rotterdam Convention again fails to list chrysotile asbestos as hazardous

Chrysotile asbestos has failed to be listed as a hazardous substance by the Rotterdam Convention for the sixth time. The Convention is a United Nations treaty that requires dangerous substances that have been listed by the Convention to be traded only with prior informed consent.
