The very short point made by Colman J in
North Star Shipping Ltd v Sphere Drake Insurance plc, The North Star
[2004] EWHC 2457 (Comm) is that a claim for suing and labouring expenses is quite distinct from a claim for the insured loss
itself, and has to be pleaded separately.
