The judgment of HHJ Peter Coulson QC in Paine v Catlins [2004] EWHC 3054 (TCC) is lengthy, complex and primarly concerned with questions of fact. However, the judgment does contain some interesting comments on the construction of policy conditions and reasonable care provisions, and is certainly worth noting.
