North Sea inquiry

The UK’s House of Lords European Union (EU) Committee has been taking evidence from North Sea specialists as it continued its inquiry into the EU’s approach to regional marine co-operation. The session covered a range of areas including the purpose and effectiveness of co-operation between North Sea states, what examples exist of good practice in co-operation including with non-EU states and the extent to which incoherence in EU policies on the marine environment make inter-state co-operation and work between industries more difficult.
